A Short History of Photography

The Daguerreotype – The discovery of this process forever changed our understanding of time. For the first time in history we could see what our ancestors looked like. Take a look behind the scenes into our world class photograph collection from within our vaults.

What Is a Leap Year?

You probably know that 2012 is a leap year. And that means that this year we get an extra day on February 29th. Great–an extra day. Who really cares? Well, leaplings (people born on Leap Year Day of a previous year) care, because they finally get to celebrate their actual birthday. But for the rest of us, it’s just a day like any other day. So why do we go to all the trouble to have a leap year?

History of Gaming

This is a university video-project made by “Game Design”-students from munich.
Done in a single-shot fashion…well almost single shot =)
The film covers different eras of the video-game history.

Took us a week to organise the various props (controllers, monitors. lighting, camera, etc.), two whole days to film and several days of postproduction.
It isn’t perfect, but hopefully fun to watch nevertheless ,)
